Job summary

The University of Missouri-Columbia, through Mizzou Dining Services, seeks a Manager II Hospitality Services to oversee residential dining, cafés, catering, and related operations on campus. You will manage staff, payroll, training, and vendor programs to deliver high-quality, safe, and economical dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years of experience in related dining operations.
• Experience in college/university dining preferred.
• Serv-Safe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operational, financial, and personnel activities of dining operations.
• Ensure adherence to procedures and provide safe, cost-effective, high-quality food service.
• Administer the food production system and supervise inventory and supplies.
• Plan, schedule, and supervise work of staff.
• Maintain payroll and attendance records for staff.
• Coordinate training and professional development for staff.
• Analyze unit operations for quality, revenue, and cost control.
• Respond to customer needs and develop service plans.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
