Job summary

Bon Appetit Management Company is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead campus dining operations at Carthage College. The role oversees the dining program, ensuring operational excellence, financial stewardship, and exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has higher education dining experience, strong leadership, and a track record in managing residential/retail dining, catering, and campus partnerships. Relocation to Kenosha, WI is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Admin, Culinary Management, or related field, or equivalent.
• Experience in higher education dining operations.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and support a diverse team of managers and frontline associates.
• Oversee dining program operations with a focus on guest experience and service excellence.
• Manage budgets, P&L, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with culinary teams to develop menus aligned with client expectations.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, health, and safety regulations.
• Build strong partnerships with campus administration and stakeholders.
