Job summary

Bon Appetit is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead campus dining operations at Carthage College. This role requires relocation to the Kenosha, WI area and direct higher education dining experience, including residential dining, retail operations, and catering.

You will oversee all aspects of the dining program, ensuring operational excellence, financial stewardship, outstanding guest experiences, and strong team engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading higher education dining operations.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasting, P&L, and inventory controls.
• Strong leadership and team mentoring in hospitality or food service.
• Experience building relationships with clients and campus stakeholders.
• Knowledge of HACCP and health/safety compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and support a diverse team of managers and frontline associates.
• Oversee financial performance, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and cost controls.
• Foster relationships with college administration, campus stakeholders, students, faculty, and guests.
• Collaborate with culinary teams to develop menus and meet client expectations.
• Ensure high standards of hospitality, service, and safety across dining operations.
