Job summary

Bon Appétit is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead campus dining operations at Carthage College. You will oversee all aspects of the dining program, ensuring operational excellence, financial stewardship, guest experiences, and strong team engagement.

The role requires relocation to Kenosha, WI, with a focus on residential, retail, and catering dining services, in collaboration with campus stakeholders and culinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in higher education dining operations.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, P&L, food/labor cost and inventory control.
• Excellent client and campus stakeholder relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP and health/safety standards.
• Advanced MS Office skills including Excel.
• ServSafe or health certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a diverse team of managers and associates.
• Ensure dining ops deliver exceptional hospitality and service.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with culinary teams on menus and client expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

• Partner with campus administration and stakeholders to align with student experience.
