Job summary

Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking a motivated Food Service Director to oversee the campus dining program at South Georgia State College in Douglas, GA. This full-time onsite role leads the dining team to ensure meals are prepared safely, on time, and to high quality, delivering excellent service to students and staff.

You'll hire and train staff, manage budgets, coordinate with campus leadership, and drive continuous improvements to support a vibrant campus life.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Previous experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication skills with hourly staff and company executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Experience with and knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Managing all functions of the food service department and its resources.
• Lead a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget for the department, including purchasing ingredients and meeting targets.
• Collaborate with district manager and other departments on dining service aspects.
