Job summary

The Elior Collegiate Dining team at Roosevelt University in Chicago is seeking an experienced cook to join a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. You will work with a motivated staff to prepare scratch-made meals and deliver high-quality service.

You should have at least one year of culinary experience, strong knowledge of standard cooking methods, keen attention to detail, multitasking ability, and customer service skills. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of culinary experience in a high-volume, quality establishment with scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use various kitchen equipment and tools as well as identify and differentiate food items.
• Customer service experience is required.
