Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Lead Guide to build and coach high-performing Guides, developing leaders and a culture of excellence across campuses. As a Lead Guide, you’ll coach Guides, develop life skills programs, and foster environments where students consistently exceed expectations.

You’ll use data and coaching conversations to improve performance, motivate students to ambitious goals, and help launch new Alpha campuses with accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a related leadership role.
• Experience leading and developing teams of five or more people, including hiring and performance termination decisions.
• Demonstrated success using data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience working with children ages 5-14 in educational, coaching, or developmental settings.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding Alpha's standards.
• Leading life skills workshops that develop communication, leadership, focus, and real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivating students to achieve ambitious learning goals and progress in self-directed programs.
• Using data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Help launch new Alpha campuses by building a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
