Job summary

Alpha is seeking an Education Program Manager to coach Guides, lead life-skills workshops, and drive student success across campuses. You’ll build a culture of excellence, set high standards, and help launch new campuses with onboarding of teams.

Responsibilities center on coaching Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences, developing leaders, and using data to improve performance while maintaining accountability and growth opportunities for students aged 5–14.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
• At least 5 years in education, coaching, learning & development, or related leadership.
• Experience leading teams of five or more; hiring and termination decisions.
• Proven ability to use data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience with children ages 5–14 in education, coaching, or developmental settings.
• Experience building or launching a new team, program, business, school, or initiative, with willingness to help open a new campus from zero.
• Willingness to work in a school model that rejects traditional lecture-based pedagogy.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to consistently deliver exceptional student experiences while upholding Alpha's standards.
• Leading engaging life skills workshops to develop communication, leadership, focus, and other real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivating students to achieve ambitious learning goals and maximize progress in self-directed programs.
• Using data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Helping launch and establish new Alpha campuses by building a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
