Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camps across the United States. This on-site, live-in position oversees daily culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume camp setting.

Contract is seasonal (May–Sept), full-time exempt, with a minimum 6-day/70-hour week. Competitive pay, bonus, and full room & board are provided along with travel allowances.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; Allergens certification required before start.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to live on-site in rustic camp settings.
• Willing to work a minimum 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; maintain high-energy environment.
• Oversee daily culinary operations, flow, and portion control.
• Ensure allergen safety protocols and top sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, food orders, and budget tracking.
• Serve as liaison between campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods office.
