Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking a Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a fast-paced summer camp operation. You will supervise daily culinary activities, manage staff, oversee budgets, and ensure allergen safety and high sanitation standards in a live-on-site setting.

The position runs May through September, requires a minimum 6-day/70-hour week, and includes full room & board, travel support, and a competitive seasonal compensation with a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certification; Allergens certified before start date.
• Strong leadership, high computer literacy, budgeting, problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Culinary flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking execution, and timely meal service.
• Allergen protocols and sanitation standards management.
• Inventory, food orders, budget control, and daily reporting.
• Serve as the main liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
