Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead a fast-paced, high-volume summer camp kitchen on-site in the United States. This seasonal contract (May–Sept) requires managing culinary operations, staff, budgeting, and strict allergen safety compliance.

The role is live-in and demands a minimum 6-day/70-hour work week in a rustic setting. Competitive pay with bonus eligibility, plus free room & board, and travel allowance are offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required; Allergens handling knowledge preferred.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to stand for long periods and work in a hot/cold kitchen environment.
• Willing to live on-site in a rustic setting and commit to a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily culinary operations and lead kitchen staff, scheduling and training.
• Ensure menu specs, portion control, and scratch cooking quality.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Control inventories, place orders, and monitor budgets.
• Serve as liaison between campers, camp leadership, Wolfoods office.
