Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Kitchen Manager for a seasonal on-site role at rural summer camps across the United States. You will supervise prep and production for a daypart, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced kitchen.

This live-in position requires a minimum 6-day, 70-hour week, strong leadership, experience with scratch cooking, and ServSafe Allergens certification. Competitive pay, bonus, room & board, and travel allowance are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, cooking, iPad navigation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to live on-site and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee prep and production for designated day part and ensure timely meal service.
• Maintain allergen safety protocols and health department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
