Job summary

Wolfoods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a live-on-site, fast-paced summer camp dining operation. This seasonal contract runs May through September, with a minimum 6-day/70-hour workweek and exempt full-time status.

You will lead kitchen staff, ensure scratch cooking quality, manage budgets, and enforce strict allergen and sanitation protocols while engaging campers and camp leadership. Competitive pay includes room & board and travel support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification is required (Allergens certification before start date).
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff to foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee menu specs, portion control, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen management and top Health Department sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, food orders, and budget tracking; daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and Wolfoods corporate office.
