Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our on-site summer camp operations. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

This seasonal contract (May–Sept) requires a minimum 6 days/70 hours per week, with competitive pay, a performance bonus, and full room & board for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
• Strong leadership, scratch baking, able to navigate i-Pad, versatile with ingredients, and sharp problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Manage allergen protocols and maintain Health Department sanitation standards.
• Administer inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
