Job summary

Wolfoods seeks an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead daily culinary operations at a busy summer camp. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

This on-site, live-in role requires excellence in scratch cooking, strong leadership, and a willingness to live in rustic settings while meeting a demanding 6-day/70-hour week. Seasonal contract May through Sept with room-and-board included.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certification required; Allergens knowledge and company sponsorship.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee culinary quality, portion control, menu specs, and scratch cooking execution.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and Health Department sanitation standards.
• Control inventory, place food orders, and monitor daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, camp leadership, and Wolfoods corporate office.
