Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced, high-energy Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our summer camp operations. You will oversee all prep and production for designated day parts, manage staff, and enforce strict allergen safety in a fast-paced setting.

This on-site, live-in position requires a strong leader who can handle high-volume workloads across May–Sept, with competitive seasonal pay, a performance bonus, and full room & board for the contract duration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional baking.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
• Oversee operational flow, portion control, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Strict allergen safety protocols and sanitation standards compliance.
• Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
