Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. The on-site, live-in position requires directing all prep and production for a designated day part, managing and developing staff, and ensuring strict allergen safety protocols.

Expect a demanding 6-day/70-hour week in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with competitive seasonal pay, bonus potential, room & board, and travel allowances.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.

Responsibilities

• Oversee prep and production for designated day part.
• Lead and train kitchen staff to maintain a high-energy, safe work environment.
• Manage allergen protocols (Kosher, Nut-Free, Gluten-Free, Vegan) and sanitation standards.
• Handle inventory and assist with daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen, campers, and camp leadership.
