Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to lead daily prep and production at our rural summer camp facilities across the US. This on-site, live-in role focuses on staff leadership, allergen safety, and high-volume meal service.

You will oversee scratch cooking, portion control, inventory, and daily reporting while partnering with camp leadership to ensure a positive camper experience. Minimum 2+ years in kitchen leadership, ServSafe Allergens certification, and willingness

Qualifications

2+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch baking experience.
ServSafe Allergens certification required before start date; company-sponsored.
Willingness to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding minimum 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

Lead and train kitchen staff; foster a high-energy, positive environment.
Oversee operational flow, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
Strictly manage food allergy protocols and top Health Department sanitation standards.
Manage inventory and assist with daily reporting.
Serve as a liaison between kitchen operations, campers, and camp leadership.
