Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or tech. degree; or 10+ years related experience.
• 5+ years programming lathes, mill-turns, multi-axis mills with Siemens NX.
• Strong CNC controls knowledge (Siemens, Fanuc, Okuma OSP, Heidenhain, AB) and macro programming.
• Advanced high-speed machining, toolpath, cutting tools, and CAM workflow knowledge.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX CAD for assembly modeling, surface modeling, and data handling.
• US Citizenship required due to government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide CAM solutions for process development and new product introduction.
• Improve part processing time and reduce costs through CAM enhancements.
• Integrate on-machine probing and data collection to enable process control.
• Lead NC verification using Vericut and NX ISV tools.
• Support NX post builder to post configurator transitions and ISV projects.
• Develop standard work and migration plans for model-based definition in CAM.
