Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking an Application Engineer for the NX CAM product development team. You will bridge customers' manufacturing challenges with our NX CAM capabilities, combining CNC programming excellence with a focus on quality and customer success.

This role emphasizes hands-on machining, on-machine validation, and collaboration in a lean-agile environment, with hybrid by default work arrangements and opportunities for global mobility.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC programming experience using NX CAM.
• Expert-level knowledge of G-code for Sinumerik, Heidenhain, Fanuc, and Okuma.
• Significant hands-on machining experience, including requirements definition and validation of pre-release software on machines.

Responsibilities

• Define NX CAM capabilities based on customer needs and market trends.
• Validate software with realistic manufacturing workflows and on-machine testing.
• Engage with customers to evaluate software and capture actionable feedback.
• Promote product quality through validation and continuous improvement mindset.
• Collaborate with product owners and development teams to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Create customer-facing enablement materials such as videos and tutorials.
