Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software is hiring an Application Engineer to join the NX CAM product development team. You will bridge customer manufacturing challenges with our NX CAM capabilities, combining CNC programming expertise with a focus on quality and customer success.

You’ll collaborate with product owners and engineering to validate software, create customer-facing enablement, and gather feedback while traveling occasionally for customer meetings and events.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC programming experience using NX CAM.
• Expert-level knowledge of G-code for controls such as Sinumerik, Heidenhain, Fanuc, and Okuma.
• Significant hands-on machining experience, including requirements definition and validation of pre-release software on machines.

Responsibilities

• Define NX CAM capabilities informed by customer needs, market trends, and machining workflows.
• Validate software using realistic manufacturing workflows, practical use cases, and on-machine testing.
• Engage with customers and partners to evaluate software, demonstrate new functionality, and gather actionable feedback.
• Promote product quality through validation, timely feedback, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Management to refine requirements and create customer-focused acceptance criteria.
