Job summary
Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking an Application Engineer for the NX CAM product development team. You will bridge customers' manufacturing challenges with our capabilities, combining CNC programming expertise and a passion for quality to drive innovation.
This role requires hands-on machining experience and strong English communication. You will collaborate with product management and development to validate software and create customer-facing enablement materials.
Qualifications
- Proven CNC programming experience using NX CAM.
- Expert-level knowledge of G-code for Sinumerik, Heidenhain, Fanuc, and Okuma.
- Hands-on machining experience including requirements definition and validation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and events.
Responsibilities
- Define NX CAM capabilities informed by customer needs and machining workflows.
- Validate software using realistic manufacturing workflows and on‑machine testing.
- Engage with customers to evaluate software and gather feedback.
- Create customer-facing enablement materials and technical tips.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
