Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software is hiring an Application Engineer for the NX CAM product development team. You will bridge customer manufacturing challenges with NX CAM capabilities, combining CNC programming expertise with a focus on quality and customer success.

You will validate software with real workflows, engage with customers and partners, and help drive lean-agile product development. Occasional travel and collaboration with product teams are essential to success.

Qualifications

Proven CNC programming experience with NX CAM.
Expert-level G-code knowledge for controls such as Sinumerik, Heidenhain, Fanuc, and Okuma.
Ability to program a part, run on a machine, and cut or build.
Strong written and verbal English communication.
Hands-on machining experience including requirements definition and validating pre-release software on machines.
Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

Define NX CAM capabilities informed by customer needs and machining workflows.
Validate software using realistic manufacturing workflows and on-machine testing.
Engage with customers to demonstrate functionality and gather feedback.
Create customer-facing enablement materials (videos, screen captures, test recordings).
Collaborate with Product Owners to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
