Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a part-time vehicle driver to transport students and volunteers safely to and from the LifeWise site. The role requires a mature Christian faith aligned with our Statement of Faith, a current regular driver’s license, a clean driving record, and successful background checks.

Applicants must be willing to submit annual Physician's Statements for medical conditions and undergo drug testing as required.

Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church with doctrine aligned to LifeWise Statement of Faith.
• Regular driver's license, kept on file by LifeWise program.
• Age 21–80; for drivers over 75 additional documentation required.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in the last 5 years.
• Background check through LifeWise Academy.
• Annual Physician's Statement for any known medical conditions.
• Drug and/or alcohol testing required (pre-employment, annual random, and after incidents).

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws.
• Maintain bus cleanliness and mechanical safety; perform regular bus inspections.
• Refuel as needed and create a safe environment for children.
• Assist students with entering/exiting the vehicle and enforce safety rules.
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if arranged with the Director.
