Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a LifeWise vehicle driver to transport students to and from the LifeWise site, ensuring safety, punctuality, and compliance with traffic laws.

The role requires a mature Christian faith, active church involvement, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. A background check and drug testing are mandatory; CDL with passenger endorsement is required for larger vehicles, with classroom volunteering possible as arranged with the Director.

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church.
• Regular driver's license held for 3+ years.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault incidents in the last 5 years.
• Background check required for employment eligibility.
• Undergo drug and/or alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and drive defensively.
• Maintain cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus.
• Perform regular inspections of the bus.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules; assist students entering or exiting the vehicle; supervise behavior.
• Volunteer in LifeWise classroom if agreed with the Director.
