Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time LifeWise vehicle driver to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from LifeWise sites. Applicants should be reliable, punctual, and maintain a clean driving record.

The role requires a mature Christian faith aligned with our Statement of Faith, a valid driver's license with 3 years of licensed experience, and the ability to pass background checks and annual physician statements as needed. CDL may be required for larger vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church aligning with LifeWise faith.
• Regular driver's license with at least 3 years of continuous licensure.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement for large vehicles when required.
• Age 21–80; over 75 requires additional documentation.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault incidents in the last 5 years.
• Pass background check and annual Physician's Statement if medically required.
• Complete drug/alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe environment; enforce safety rules and assist students.
• Volunteer in LifeWise classroom if approved by Director.
