The role requires a valid driver's license (minimum 3 years), potential CDL/P endorsement for larger vehicles, and compliance with safety and background-check procedures. Flexibility and a caring demeanor are valued.

Qualifications

• Must have a mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise beliefs.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Regular driver's license with at least 3 years of licensed driving.
• CDL with endorsement for passenger vehicle for 15+ seats; 15‑passenger van may not require special license.
• Age between 21 and 80; drivers over 75 may require additional documentation.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or citations in the last 5 years.
• Background check and annual Physician's Statement for medical conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and mechanical safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
• Volunteer in the LifeWise classroom if directed by the Director.
