Job summary

InteLogix, a leading provider of integrated solutions, is seeking an HR Generalist focused on California compliance and CA wage-and-hour rules. The role supports HR across designated regions with emphasis on California laws and employee relations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HR generalist roles, strong communication and policy implementation skills, and proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office. This remote role welcomes candidates nationwide, including several listed states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• 5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees, including CA wage and hour rules, CFRA/PDL leave, PAGA exposure, and California-specific compliance.
• Working knowledge of compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with HRIS systems.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer various human resource plans for all organization personnel; develop and implement personnel policies and procedures; maintain the employee handbook.
• Develop department goals, objectives and systems.
• Conduct new employee orientations; write and revise job descriptions as necessary.
• Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
• Participate in staff meetings and seminars.
• Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from the database.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
• Support performance management processes, including disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
• Conduct HR investigations and provide appropriate recommendations.
