Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Algonquin, IL is seeking a Baker Assistant to produce high-quality cakes using NbC recipes and maintain clean, sanitary stations. You will assist in baking, packaging and inventory, while supporting the Bakery Manager to meet daily production demands.

No formal education required; previous bakery experience is a plus. Must be 18+, able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work early mornings, evenings, weekends or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous bakery or foodservice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follows NbC proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision.
• Uses measuring instruments, mixers and ovens to bake cakes.
• Prepares ingredients and equipment for baking, places pans in oven and monitors baking.
• Packages, labels and stores baked cakes, maintains logs for baking and refrigeration.
• Supports Bakery Manager in production planning and inventory monitoring.
• Identifies quality issues and informs management as needed.
• Maintains clean, sanitized workstation and restocks supplies for next shift.
