Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a dedicated Baker Assist. to join our Bloomingdale team. You will follow proprietary NbC recipes and production methods to consistently bake high-quality cakes in multiple flavors and sizes.

You will also help with sanitation, inventory, and the packing and storage of finished products, while upholding health and safety standards. The role requires physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced bakery

Qualifications

Understands written and oral directions, and interprets recipes and procedures.
Ability to read U.S. measurement units and apply them precisely.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Commitment to health and safety practices and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Follow NbC recipes and cake production methods to meet quality and productivity goals.
Operate commercial-grade ovens and mixers to bake cakes.
Prepare ingredients and equipment, load pans, and monitor baking times.
Label, package and store baked cakes, and keep logs of baking and refrigeration.
Assist in inventory and supply planning for baking needs.
Maintain clean, sanitized, and stocked workstation for the next shift.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and NbC dress code and hygiene policies.
Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
