Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Baker to partner with the Baker in producing high-quality cakes and maintaining strict safety standards. You will follow proprietary recipes, use commercial equipment, and help manage daily baking flow in a fast-paced setting.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work with heat and sharp equipment, and maintain precise measurements. Flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No formal education or work experience is required, but prior baking or foodservice experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follows NbC recipes and cake production methods with precision and achieves productivity goals.
• Operates measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other tools to bake cakes.
• Assists baker with preparing ingredients and equipment, places pans in hot oven, and monitors baking process.
• Assists baker with daily baking and production flow and processes.
• Packages, labels and stores baked cakes, maintains logs as required.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks workstation and ensures supplies are ready for next shift.
• Complies with health and safety guidelines and NbC policies, including dress code and hygiene.
• Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality.
