Job summary

Wake County Public School System is seeking a CNS Assistant Manager to help manage the school cafeteria, prepare meals, and supervise operations when the CNS Manager is away. You will prepare entrees and side dishes according to standard recipes and maintain accurate production records.

The role requires ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 90 days, strong customer service, and effective communication with students, staff, and parents.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of child nutrition laws, policies, and procedures.
• Able to obtain ServSafe certification within 90 days and maintain it.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve meals, salads, and a la carte items.
• Serve as cashier and maintain accurate POS records.
• Lead cafeteria operations in CNS Manager's absence.
• Ensure sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.
• Complete records, inventories, and required reports.
