The position requires ServSafe certification within 90 days and a high school diploma or equivalent, with responsibilities including cash handling, inventory, and supervision in the absence of the CNS Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be ServSafe Certified or able to become ServSafe Certified within 90 days and maintain certification.
• Experience in food service and/or serving as a cashier preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow recipes and instructions in large quantities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve meals, salads and a la-carte items according to standardized recipes and keep accurate documentation of food preparation.
• Serve as a cashier and record sales using a computerized POS system.
• Follow procedures for money exchange, deposits, and banking as needed.
• Provide leadership and manage the cafeteria in the absence of the CNS Manager.
• Complete all records, inventories and vending procedures as required.
• Ensure kitchen area, equipment and utensils are kept clean per sanitation codes.
• Perform housekeeping duties in dining and serving areas.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents and staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
