Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is seeking to fill kitchen roles across multiple sites. The position involves preparing breakfast and/or lunch, assisting with serving lines, and participating in occasional catering functions. Staff will perform all kitchen functions per Opaa! recipes and menus.

The role requires safe food handling, adherence to recipes, and teamwork in a busy environment. Training on equipment and safety is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to customers and coworkers.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and daily serving lines, maintain proper food temperatures.
• Follow menu plans and Opaa! recipes; prep ahead for next day menus.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification and ensure cleanliness.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and organized storage; restock as needed.
• Assist in meal preparation and presentation for customers.
• Follow HACCP and food safety logs; report unsafe conditions.
