Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a versatile kitchen staff member to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, assist serving lines, and support occasional catering functions. You will perform all positions within the kitchen to ensure smooth operation.

You will follow recipes, prep ahead for the next day, operate basic kitchen equipment with proper certification, maintain a clean workspace, manage inventory with FIFO, and present food to customers with hospitality and care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at proper temperatures.
• Assist in food preparation per menu plan and recipes; prep ahead for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas; clean kitchen and cafeteria areas.
• Keep inventory stock organized and follow FIFO; maintain clean cooler/storage areas.
• Prepare baked goods as required and present to customers appealingly.
• Batch cook to ensure quality and presentation; set up serving/bar lines with adequate quantities.
