Job summary

Opaa! is seeking staff to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and participate in occasional catering. The role covers all kitchen positions and upholds Opaa!'s safety and HACCP standards. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or related experience as described.
• Includes ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; and present to others.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up of serving lines daily and ensure food is held at the required temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for next day’s menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain FIFO inventory.
• Follow HACCP processes and food safety logs; record temperatures of hot and cold foods.
• Handle customer monies, complete trays and meal reconciliation tasks daily.
