Job summary

Opaa! Food Management is hiring for a kitchen role responsible for preparing breakfast and lunch offerings and assisting with serving lines. The position involves participating in catering functions and performing tasks across all kitchen stations.

Responsibilities include serving line set-up, food preparation per menu and recipes, operating kitchen equipment, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while following safety and HACCP practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one-month related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines daily and ensure all food is held at the required temperatures.
• Assist in the preparation of foods according to the menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan ahead for the next day’s menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; maintain inventory and FIFO procedures.
• Prepare bread, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods as required by the menu plan; present to customers attractively.
