Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks a versatile kitchen team member to prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings and assist with serving lines. You may participate in occasional catering functions and perform all kitchen positions as needed.

The role emphasizes food safety, HACCP compliance, FIFO inventory, proper portioning, and friendly hospitality to students and staff across districts served by Opaa!.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or up to 1 month related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with serving lines setup and ensure food is held at proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu and Opaa! recipes; plan for the next day's menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders with proper certification.
• Keep work areas neat and inventory using FIFO.
• Maintain dishwashing area and stock cooler.
• Prepare baked goods as required by the menu.
• Batch cook to maintain quality and presentation.
• Set up serving/bar lines and restock as needed.
• Serve items with proper portions and hospitality.
• Handle cash register and POS for reimbursable meals.
