Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking kitchen staff to prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings and assist with serving lines. You will participate in catering events, perform duties across the kitchen, and ensure food safety and quality in a fast-paced school meal environment.

The role involves setting up serving lines, following menu plans, operating equipment, and maintaining clean, organized work areas in accordance with HACCP and district guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read simple instructions, memos, and orders.
• Ability to follow recipes and standardized menus.
• Basic math for measuring ingredients and portions.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines and ensure food is held at correct temperatures.
• Assist in food prep per menu and recipes.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification and maintain clean work areas.
• Maintain FIFO inventory and proper storage.
• Assist with dishwashing and clean-up after service.
