Job summary

Macy's Starbucks Daily Operations Leader directs the licensed Starbucks cafe inside Macy's, ensuring an efficient, safe, and profitable operation while maintaining brand standards. You will work with baristas to deliver high-quality beverages and service, modeling Macy's service expectations.

In this role, you will train and motivate colleagues, support sales and profitability goals, and coordinate with store leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe certification or food handler permit as required by health department.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily cafe operations ensuring safety, sanitation, and quality per standards.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by upholding Starbucks customer connection standards.
• Coach and motivate colleagues to maximize performance and development.
• Maintain consistent food/beverage preparation and merchandising per Starbucks standards.
• Monitor labor to balance service with cost controls and efficiency.
• Assist with ordering, inventory, and invoice processing to maintain stock levels.
• Oversee cash handling and POS operations in line with policies.
• Collaborate with store leadership to resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Foster an inclusive environment and strong teamwork across shifts.
