Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a high-volume cafe environment. You will manage labor schedules, mentor hourly staff, and ensure brand standards across all systems and processes while delivering exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in an Operations Managerial role with high volume exposure in a casual-themed, full-service restaurant.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and apply new ideas to the team.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate financial comprehension of the cafe’s budget and P&L.
• Mentor and coach hourly staff to become brand ambassadors.
• Manage labor schedules in line with the cafe’s budget and forecast models.
• Operate a department and/or cost center.
• Support senior management in building a functional hourly team.
• Attract and retain talented people; set goals and performance expectations.
• Develop and execute learning and development programs for all staff.
• Uphold brand standards and deliver guest-first service.
