Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced CADD/BIM Intelligent Modeling Coordinator for transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate cross‑discipline model deliverables across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP into a single federated, clash‑checked model.

You will run Navisworks clash detection, enforce Autodesk/CAD standards, mentor production staff, and ensure interoperability across Autodesk tools (Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Revit) and Bentley

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with CADD/intelligent modeling training.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across multiple design disciplines (architecture, vertical/transportation structures, roadway, and MEP) to a single federated model.
• Run Navisworks clash detection and lead resolution across disciplines.
• Establish, document, and enforce CAD/BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Mentor and guide production staff across offices to build repeatable capability.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on model deliverable requirements and data handoff standards.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and advise pursuit teams on integration strategy and LOE.
