Job summary

Terrible Herbst seeks an Assistant Manager Trainee to lead customer service and oversee store operations at the Henderson, NV c-store. You will manage gas pumps, inventory, personnel, and costs to maximize sales and profitability.

The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to train staff while ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards. Flexibility for shifts and travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to communicate with customers in a busy environment.
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 45 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Reliable transportation to work.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain a customer-friendly environment.
• Control shrink, expenses, and schedule employees per guidelines.
• Ensure proper merchandise stock levels and signage on the floor.
• Train employees and ensure certifications are current as required.
• Handle money and operate POS and store equipment with accuracy.
• Meet operational standards and participate in the company's Excellence Programs.
• Prepare Daily Activity Reports and fuel surveys timely.
• Address employee issues and cover open shifts as needed.
• Travel to other district locations to support staffing needs.
• Be available for all shifts and on-call to cover sick calls.
