The Senior Store Manager will supervise staff, optimize expenses, manage perishables, payroll, and vendor deliveries, while upholding Terrible Herbst standards and OE initiatives to ensure top performance and profitability.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience (3+ years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be able to obtain Food Safety, Alcohol Awareness, Non-Gaming and Gaming certifications
• Reliable transportation or access to a personal vehicle
• Open availability and willingness to cover shifts as needed

Responsibilities

• Foster an exceptional customer service culture and maintain high operational standards
• Execute shrink and expense management strategies
• Oversee stock levels, perishable dates, and clear in-store signage
• Ensure staff adhere to policies, receive training, and hold required certifications
• Manage cash handling procedures and minimize discrepancies
• Utilize POS and store equipment effectively
• Participate in Terrible Herbst Operational Excellence programs
• Prepare Daily Activity Reports and analyze store performance
• Address employee issues, conduct performance reviews, and provide growth feedback
• Balance cash drawers daily and ensure accuracy
• Verify daily deliveries against inventory records
