Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program accredited by a U.S. Department of Education-recognized institution.
• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license; not barred in any state/territory.
• Minimum 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience.
• Current BLS certification and renewals.
• Strong documentation, communication and time management skills.
• Computer skills including MS Word/Outlook and electronic medical records systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P disability examinations for Veterans per VA requirements.
• Review medical records and diagnostic data before and during exams.
• Perform focused physical assessments related to claimed conditions.
• Prepare objective, evidence-based medical opinions and complete documentation.
• Use examination and case management systems to organize workload.
• Work with QA to ensure reports are complete and submitted on time.
• Maintain VA training, HIPAA, privacy standards, and Loyal Source policies.
• Travel approximately 10% to support other Loyal Source clinics.
