Loyal Source is seeking an Examiner Nurse Practitioner to conduct Compensation & Pension disability examinations for Veterans applying for VA benefits. The role reviews medical records, performs focused physical assessments, documents findings, and provides objective medical opinions to support VA determinations.

This is not a treatment position and does not involve prescribing or ongoing patient management.

Formación

Graduate of a professional nursing program.
Active, valid, and unrestricted NP license in the United States.
Minimum of one year of NP experience.
Current BLS certification, including renewals.

Responsabilidades

Conduct C&P disability examinations for Veterans per VA requirements.
Review medical records, diagnostics, and supporting docs before and during exams.
Perform focused physical assessments for claimed conditions.
Prepare objective, evidence-based medical opinions and complete documentation.
Use examination and case management systems to organize workload and submit findings.
Work with QA to ensure reports are complete and on time.
Maintain VA training, HIPAA, privacy standards, and Loyal Source policies.
Support other Loyal Source clinics as needed, with ~10% travel.
