Job summary

Le Meridien | Sheraton Charlotte Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic team member for our busy food and beverage operation. You will assist with clearing and setting tables, restocking dining room supplies, and ensuring guests receive prompt, courteous service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, assisting in service areas, and handling guest requests while complying with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen.
• Replace soiled table linen and set tables with silverware and glassware, including polishing silver and wiping glasses.
• Assist with rolling silver into napkins for service presentation on tables.
• Replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware and dishes in dining room.
• Supply service bar with food items such as soups, salads and desserts.
• Service ice water and butter to guests.
• Clean and polish glass shelves and doors of service bars and equipment such as coffee urns and milk dispensers.
• Run errands or deliver food orders to offices.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and company policies/licensing laws.
• Maintain equipment in good condition.
• Report shortages, damages or security issues.
• Handle reasonable guest complaints/requests and inform others when required.
