You will ensure flawless service by following the BEO, greet guests, and assist with room setups and post-event cleanup. Responsabilités

• Follow the banquet event order (BEO) details to ensure flawless service.
• Provide guests with high-quality service in a warm, enthusiastic manner.
• Keep banquet area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Clear and secure banquet rooms after events and store equipment properly.
• Greet guests upon arrival and be present in the room during events.
• Submit maintenance requests for damaged equipment to the engineering team.
• Assist with room setups, food service, and post-event cleanup as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain equipment and promptly report shortages or security issues.
• Address guest complaints/requests and escalate when appropriate.

Description

We are looking for an ambitious and fun individual to join our hard working banquets team at the Le Meridien | Sheraton Charlotte Hotel. Our goal is to enhance the customer experience by having an enthusiastic staff to ensure event guests are well taken care of!

• Ensure that details are followed from the banquet event order (BEO)
• Provide guests with the finest quality of service at all times and in a warm and enthusiastic manner
• Ensure that the banquet area is maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition
• Ensure that at the close of a function and at the end of the workday, all banquet rooms are cleared and securely locked, and ensure all equipment is stored in the designated area
• Always be present in room and greet guests upon arrival
• Submit maintenance requests to the engineering department for broken or damaged equipment
• Assist staff with room set ups, food service, and clean up when necessary
• Comply with health and safety regulation and act in line with company policies and licensing laws
• Maintain equipment in good condition
• Report on any shortages, damages or security issues
• Handle reasonable guests complaints/requests and inform others when required
