Position Summary
The Business Solutions Advisor is responsible for the successful solution design, validation, planning, management, and execution of implementation for complex customer programs. This role provides post-implementation oversight and relationship management for select customers. It supports the Field Sales organization and partners with the customer and cross-functionally within corporate and field operations to identify and deliver all program requirements.
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet objectives for the Sales Solutions Design & Implementation team as set by the Sr. Manager, Sales Solutions Design & Implementation, aligned with company strategy and sales goals.
- Review, validate, analyze, and design solutions for customer opportunities.
- Plan, manage, execute, and follow-up on customer implementations.
- Operate within established guidelines for service levels, solution development, implementation planning & measurement, issue management, and project completion. Adhere to rules of engagement.
- Build and grow cross-functional relationships within the field and FSO to support customer solutions design, development, implementation, and growth/retention.
- Ensure solutions and sales implementation plans are developed in accordance with sales agreements and company policies. Escalate potential issues.
- Lead coordination of customer-facing resources, communications, readiness assessments, risk mitigation, and transition to operations.
- Ensure customer training on FedEx Office programs.
- Maintain knowledge of Sales and Operations models to align solution design and post-implementation relationship management.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers, acting as the main point of contact for key customer business owners.
- Monitor progress and address process needs to meet customer expectations throughout the program lifecycle.
- Participate in program development, planning, and launch initiatives.
- Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years in sales, sales support, or customer-facing roles focusing on developing business relationships.
- Experience with sales processes, operations, workflows, and customer agreements.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Meet all FedEx Office employment qualifications at the time of hiring.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in returns solutions, on-site mail, parcel, and print solutions for higher education, corporate, and hotel sectors.
- Experience leading customer need discovery, including user interviews and technical deep-dives, with familiarity with Quick Base.
- Ability to translate customer needs into measurable value and track solutions' effectiveness.
Additional Information
Salary range: $5,364.26/month - $9,476.86/month. Position location: Anywhere in the US (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, US territories). May require work at a FedEx location several times per week. Equal employment opportunity statement and legal notices included.
