POSITION SUMMARY:

The Business Solutions Advisor is responsible for the successful solution design, validation, planning, management, and execution of implementation for complex customer programs. This role provides post-implementation oversight and relationship management for select customers. It directly supports the Field Sales organization and partners with customers and cross-functional teams within corporate and field operations to identify and deliver all program requirements.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Meet objectives for the Sales Solutions Design & Implementation team as set by the Sr. Manager, Sales Solutions Design & Implementation, aligned with company strategy and sales goals.
  2. Review, validate, analyze, and design solutions for customer opportunities.
  3. Plan, manage, execute, and follow-up on customer implementations.
  4. Operate within established guidelines for service levels, solution development, implementation planning & measurement, issue management, status reports, project completion, and ongoing oversight. Adhere to published rules of engagement.
  5. Build and grow cross-functional relationships within the field and FSO to support customer solutions design, development, implementation, and growth/retention.
  6. Ensure customer solutions and sales implementation plans comply with sales agreements and company policies. Escalate potential issues, including problems with replication/sustainability.
  7. Lead coordination of customer-facing resources, communications, readiness assessments, risk mitigation, and transition to operations or oversight resources.
  8. Ensure customers are trained to utilize FedEx Office programs specific to supported client programs.
  9. Maintain a strong working knowledge of sales and operations models and processes to ensure alignment in solution design, implementation, and post-implementation relationship management.
  10. Provide communication to team members interacting with the customer regarding client relationship management, account maintenance, systems, and procedures.
  11. Act as the main point of contact for key customer business owners.
  12. Monitor progress for each customer and address process needs to meet customer expectations throughout the program lifecycle.
  13. Participate in program development, planning, and launch of Solutions Design & Implementation and Sales Operations initiatives.
  14. Perform all other duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years experience in sales, sales support, or customer-facing roles focused on developing existing business relationships.
  • Experience with sales processes, operations, organization/workflow, and customer agreements.
  • Some project management experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Must meet all FedEx Office employment qualifications at hire (for new hires) or transfer requirements (for current employees).

  • Maintain attention and concentration for extended periods.
  • Read and interpret documents and instructions from various stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.

  • Work independently as appropriate.
  • Maintain regular attendance and support business hours, whether on-site or remotely.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in returns solutions, onsite mail, parcel, and print solutions for higher education, corporate, and hotel sectors; leading customer need discovery; experience with QuickBase; ability to translate customer needs into measurable value; and establishing tracking/reporting mechanisms.

Pay Transparency: This range is an estimate of the current starting salary across potential locations, with actual pay determined by experience, location, and other factors. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $5,364.26/month - $9,476.86/month

Additional Details: Position may be located anywhere in the U.S. excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories. May require work at a FedEx Campus several times per week.
